My Sunday Photo 3/1/16 Wooden Toys

I captured this photo on my iphone (as I'm still without a camera) of Mr Eliot playing with some of his Christmas gifts after a post Christmas decoration removal session. He'd been riding around on his bus before getting off to play with his garage which I only got round to putting together yesterday as we had to return the first one because it was missing parts. At the moment I really have a love for wooden toys, I just think they look 'nicer' as they have that traditional feel!

My Sunday Photo 29/11/15 My name is...

It's not a great photo, taken on my iPhone, blurry but it tickled me! Eliot found it hillarious putting on these clear lens glasses, he reminded me of a character from Harry Enfield & Chums (if you watched that back in the day)

'My name is Michael Caine and I am a nosy neighbour!'

My Sunday Photo 22/11/15 Not Quite Scooting!

Yesterday Eliot and I took his scooter out, it was freezing cold but we still enjoyed getting out and about. He did make me laugh as he wasn't riding the scooter but straddling it walking with his legs either side.
If he did put both his feet on and I pulled him along he kept saying he didn't like it. After he'd had enough of straddling the scooter I had to carry it! It was nice mummy and son time.

My Sunday Photo 8/11/15

It's not a great but this photo really sums up how I felt about full time teaching this week, 'cray cray'.
That's my car in the distance, this was one evening when I was leaving work. Apart from one other car and the school minibus, mine was the only car left in the car park.
It had been an INSET day so the children hadn't been in but I still found myself working past the time I'd usually stay until. No matter how many hours of work I put in, there are always other tasks that need completing. It is just crazy!

My Sunday Photo 30/8/15 GIANT 2 Year Old

If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen this pic but I love it so I had to share again!
Here's Mr Eliot with my friend Vicky's eldest boy, Mason. Mason is three and a half whereas Mr E is two. Vicky and I were laughing at how they are the same height, Eliot even has bigger feet, measuring in at an eight & a half while Mason is a seven!
We don't see Vicky and her boys very often as they're living abroad so it was lovely to spend time with them while they're back in the UK. Eliot really enjoyed playing with Mason and was even trying to share his food with him when  we were out for dinner.
This was taken just before we went home, I'm sure you can imagine it wasn't the easiest of tasks to snap them together!

My Sunday Photo 16/8/15

On Friday we had a day out at Woburn Safari Park. Whilst driving through the monkey enclosure this rather cheeky chap or lady hopped onto my car bonnet much to the delight of Eliot and my niece. He/she sat there for a good few minutes before climbing onto the roof and peeing!

My Sunday Photo 9/8/15

This week we went to Alton Tower for a family day out. This picture was taken whilst we waited for the monorail to take us from the car park to the park. I think Eliot looks so grown up, much older than his two years! He's also in need of a hair cut!

My Sunday Photo 2/8/15

We were away in Warwickshire at the beginning of the week at Walton Hall. I took this as we walked around the lovely grounds, love the look on his face!

My Sunday Photo 17/5/15 Selfie Fail

If you follow me on Instagram or facebook, you may have already seen this blurry pic! We were in the lift at Wagamamas and I attempted to capture a family selfie, getting Eliot to look in the mirror was a bit of a challenge. And this was one of the (failed) results! Still a nice little memory in my opinion!

My Sunday Photo 8/3/15

I love this snap taken of my boys on Tenby beach during our stay at Bluestone. The beach is so pretty, we had blue skies, it was a beautiful day.

'Cool Dude'-My Sunday Photo 22/2/15

Whilst we were out for lunch on Friday, Mr Eliot grabbed hold of his father's sunglasses and kept himself (and us) amused by putting them on and taking them off. Each time he did it he had them on upside down but he still managed to pull off a 'cool dude' look ;) This photo is mid attempt.

My Sunday Photo 23/11/14

On Friday we finally exchanged contracts for our sale and the house we are purchasing, so we celebrated with a bit of fizz and Mr E had a fruit shoot treat! It's all been a bit stressful so we're relieved to have got there in the end.

My Sunday Photo

We popped to Ikea yesterday for a browse and Mr Eliot was quite taken with the toy kitchen. So much so we've put it on his Christmas list!

My Sunday Photo

This week I've noticed a large increase in festive bits & bobs, Christmas songs on in the shops, the John Lewis advert and decorations adorning shop displays. So here is our first festive photo, next to the Christmas countdown tree in Asda :)

My Sunday Photo

Yesterday we popped along to The Baby Show at Olympia, we attended last year and it's hard to believe Eliot was just under four months then. He enjoyed walking/running around but his favourite part had to be trying out these Happy Hopperz, he was instantly attracted to them. I just had to share this blurry action shot of him bouncing away in pure joy. Safe to say one of these has been added to his Christmas list.

#My Sunday Photo - The One That Got Away

Excuse the poor photo but this was taken through the car window after our first viewing at a house we put an offer on. Unfortunately someone offered over the asking price which meant we lost out. As you can see the front garden is in a bit of a state and the back was even worse. Inside needed a lot doing which would have cost into the thousands. My mum said it was probably a blessing in disguise that our offer wasn't accepted, of course we were disappointed but I'm hoping a house that is right for us comes up soon!
